Tex-Tube

Tex-Tube is a value adding plant that produces electric welded resistance (EWR) piping, API and ASTM.

Villacero acquired the company in 1994. It has production capacity of 155,000 net tons of finished product.

Since its foundation in 1945, this Houston based company has provided the US market with high-quality carbon tubing. It was the pioneer in the development of electric welded resistance steel tubing.

Tex-Tube is a leader in the development of light, high resistance and low-cost steel tubing. It has supplied great volumes of API and ASTM tubing in diameters of up to 8” for water and natural gas conduction.

Tex-Tube also operates as a distribution center to offer the commercial and industrial construction industry the structural tubing that Tuna produces.
