CCC Steel commenced operations in January 1999, as a joint venture between Villacero and the MPC Group (Countinho Caro Co. International), a German company with a wide trading experience. On January 1, 2008, CCC Steel joined forces with Ferrostaal Metals to create Coutinho & Ferrostaal.

This join venture trades steel products and raw materials around the world providing Villacero with the opportunity of a worldwide presence.
