Environmental Commitment

Villacero maintains a proactive environmental strategy that has been successful in reducing emissions, minimizing waste and recovering residual energy and materials. Villacero participates in voluntary environmental programs audited by the Mexican Government. Every new project is evaluated in terms of its environmental impact with the aim of meeting and exceeding existing environmental regulations. At the same time, we actively collaborate in ecosystems’ preservation and recovery programs throughout Mexico.

Villacero has a preventive approach towards the environment. The firm has implemented anti-pollution systems, which have resulted in “Clean Industry Certifications” for each of the business units, as part of the voluntary programs of environmental auditing established by the Mexican government.

Villacero participates in reforestation programs of damaged jungles and forests of Mexico. These efforts are part of the environmental programs run by the Ministry of Environment in Mexico. We also participate in programs that protect, reproduce and release native threatened species.
